Why are DP charges not shown in the contract note?

The contract note comprehensively records all trading-related charges incurred on the stock exchanges. In contrast, DP charges come into play when shares from the demat account are sold. As DP charges and contract note charges are distinct, DP charges are applied separately on the funds statement and are not included in the contract note.
