What is my primary and secondary bank account with regard to my ATS account?

As per the SEBI guidelines, we can only accept funds from the linked bank account. A primary bank account is the main account that is linked to your ATS. It is the same account the details of which you provided while opening the Trading and Demat account for the first time.

The secondary bank account is the additional bank account that can be added later on to your ATS account. The bank account mapped as secondary can be used to deposit funds as well as withdraw also.

Please note that you can only add up to 3 bank accounts in total, 1 primary account and 2 secondary bank accounts.
