The exchange sends the sms and email regarding the funds and securities due to SEBI regulations. It is mandatory for the broker to report to the exchange about your fund balance and securities each day. And exchange needs to report this to the client every week to make the client aware of the available funds in their trading account and to avoid any possible misappropriation of funds.
