When can I withdraw my funds if the position is closed or shares are sold today?

Although, the proceeds from selling shares or exiting a position are available for trading immediately, you can only withdraw the proceeds the next day after the EOD process is completed and obligation is settled.

This happens because all exchanges in India follow T+1 settlement cycle, where T stands for trading day.
